Lynn Williams has been traded to Kansas City. In exchange the Courage got 200K in allocation money, the rights to keeper Katelyn Rowland, and KC's natural first-round pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft.
Kansas City named Camille Levin as their General Manager. She spent 6 years as a pro soccer player in several different countries. Since retiring her job titles have included Talent Management at WWE and VP of Blueprint Sports & Entertainment.
NC Courage signed Brazilian forward Kerolin from Madrid CFF. She signed a three year contract.
Gotham FC re-signed defender Caprice Dydasco to a two year deal. Dydasco was the 2021 NWSL defender of the year.
Kansas City traded Darian Jenkins to the Orlando Pride. In exchange KC will receive Orlando's natural 2023 second round draft pick, along with 75K in allocation money.

Only three WSL games were played over the weekend due to the other games being postponed due to covid.
Arsenal were defeated in league play for the first time since February of 2021. They lost 2-0 to Birmingham City which was a major upset. Birmingham City came into the game bottom of the table with only 1 point. With the win they are now 11th in the table moving them out of relegation for now. Libby Smith got the scoring started in the 3' and Veatriki Sarri doubled it in the 42'.
Man City fans will be happy that both Lucy Bronze and Steph Houghton have finally returned from injury after months of being out. After being tied 0-0 at half they came out and scored 6 goals in the second half to beat Brighton 6-0. Lauren Hemp continues to look like one of the best in the game with this chip.
Reading beat Leicester City 1-0 thanks to a goal from Natasha Dowie in the 11th minute. The win moves Reading into the top 6 in the standings.

Juventus are Italian Super Cup Champs for the third year running.
They defeated AC Milan 2-1 to be crowned champs again. Milan took the lead in the 45+1' to go up right before half. Juventus tied the game in the 50' off of a Milan own goal. The bad news for Milan continued as Codina got a red card in the 54'. Juventus scored the winning goal in the 85'. It was scored by the one and only Cristiana Girelli.
